The ‘Big Boy Bracelets’ were originally inspired by the Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Before I turned up I had no real idea what the whole celebration was about after four days I was still not confident I could explain it. 

I had never seen anything like it until we arrived there at some ungodly hour in the morning after driving from Vail, Colorado and the party had already begun. And what a party it was, everyone was celebrating in every corner of the city at every hour of the day. It was the longest and biggest party I had ever experienced and the whole town went BOOM.

Beads were a focus during the parades and the more beads collected the more good luck you received. Gaining the attention of the owners of the beads was a creative enterprise that we soon embraced.

‘Big Boy Bracelets’ are fun too these beads are strong and look great piled up on top of each other. Wear three or four at a time they are so easy to flick on and off.
